What to do when rental is over
-
Make sure that the RV is returned in the agreed-upon condition to avoid possible post-trip fees. This might mean stopping at a car wash to remove excess dirt from the RV exterior, thoroughly cleaning the interior, refilling the fuel and propane tanks, and dumping the waste tanks.
-
Be sure to remove all of your personal items from the RV.
-
If damage occurred to the RV during your trip, make sure to bring it to our attention so that it can get fixed for their next rental.
What to do to prepare for the rental

Campers will be supplied with the special toilet paper that is needed, but all other camping supplies will need to be supplied by the renter.
We do not recommend drinking water form the motorhome tank. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when you fill the take at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.
All Campers are equipped with TV's.

Make an inventory of what you will need for your trip and remember that storage can be at a minimum depending on the camper chosen.
How do I know which size RV I Need
How much space do you need?
Just like when choosing a hotel room, the number of travelers is an important factor in deciding what size vehicle will be right for you. The general rule of thumb with camping is to choose a vehicle that sleeps more than your number of travelers. So, for a family of four, you would be more comfortable in an RV that sleeps six or seven.
Will you be in one place or do you plan on multiple stops?
Knowing your travel itinerary at the outset is vital in determining your vehicle choice. There are a lot of different RVs to choose from with different benefits & capabilities. They will fall into one of two categories - motorhome or travel trailer.
Motorhomes have to be driven and come in a variety of sizes. You will want to consider how you will get around at your destination. If you plan on being at one spot the whole time, like an amusement park or a luxury campground this becomes less of an issue. But if you want to make multiple stops or explore the local area you’ll need to consider having an additional vehicle at your end destination.
Travel trailers are also a wide range of vehicles that are towed from your bumper, so you need to consider how much your vehicle can safely tow.
We recommend first time renters to consider delivery. This is a service that will deliver the RV to your end destination and help you with the set up. This really opens up the options of RVs for you because you can just meet the owner at your destination with your own vehicle and not have to worry about towing or handling a large vehicle.
How much are you willing to spend and how long is your RV rental?
Comfort is important but the duration of your trip can help determine the size of the vehicle you really need. In order to save a few dollars, it may be prudent to make do with a smaller vehicle or a travel trailer for short trips. For longer trips, a bigger RV or a bigger trailer, may be more appropriate so you would need to look for other ways to economize.
Choose from different types of RVs
Drivers
-
Class A motorhomes are available in a range of sizes and may be fueled by diesel or gas. They generally include large living spaces and quality fixtures and fittings.
-
Class C motorhomes are medium-sized and are easily recognized by the sleeping area over the driver’s cab. This design creates a more spacious living area. Although not as big as the Class A, the living quarters, kitchens and bathrooms are adequate.

Trailers
-
Travel trailers require a special hitch that moderates the sway of the trailer when it’s on the road. They can be towed by an SUV, pickup truck, or van. Travel trailers often have all the amenities you’ll find in RVs, though you’ll want to check the specifications for your trailer to make sure it has what you want.
Are there any places that we can not go with the RV/camper
Yes. Coverages are invalid if problems occur in the following areas and all recovery expenses are at the renter’s own cost. Violations of these restrictions void damage waivers and the renter will be held liable for all vehicle damages including to tires, towing charges and other related expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in these areas.
Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories, & Newfoundland
Travel on all public and/or numbered roads is permitted. Travel on non-public roads, unpaved back roads, trails and the like – commonly called logging roads or on any surface subjecting the vehicle to unreasonable damage or road hazard is prohibited. We reserve the right to restrict travel, dependent on current road conditions.
Death Valley
Vehicles may be operated with EXTREME CARE in Death Valley and other desert areas during the months of July and August. In Summer, renters visit these areas at their own risk and Branched Oak RV will not be held responsible for extraordinary vehicle recovery and other charges. During certain periods these areas are not habitable and could pose a danger to the driver and passengers.
Manhattan
Due to restrictions on vehicle heights, propane gas and parking, vehicles with propane are not permitted in Manhattan and are not permitted to travel through any underground or underwater tunnels.
Mexico
No we do not allow travel into Mexico
